Open the native map application on your device to see if the location is correct. If it is not then try restarting your device.

We also reccomend perforing the figure eight method with your device. This is a calibration technique to capture GPS.

 

Simply draw out an eight with your device and check your location.

If you find the first photograph that you take is off with the fairy's and not where you were, then do this figure of 8 movement with the phone before taking the first picture. If you weren't getting strange looks before, wait until you are seen waving your phone around in the air :-)
